What Is Direct Primary Care?

DCP (direct primary care) is a medicine model that puts the patient first above traditional healthcare system’s financial goals. This means the patient’s health is our number one concern. When you need treatment you get direct access to your physician by phone, text, video visit or in-person visits. In-person visits are same or next-day and these visits are not rushed because the number of patients invited into the DCP is limited. This means more time to discuss your individual healthcare needs. Your monthly membership covers your primary health needs. All labs are charged to you at our cost which typically run $50 for a female panel and $55 for a male panel for cash pay. We highly recommend that you keep your high deductible insurance plan for medical emergencies, hospitalizations or surgeries. The Spire Medical team will develop a personalized health plan for your specific needs and goals in mind.
